I originally booked this hotel because of all the great reviews I read about it on both Booking.com and Tripadvisor. As I travel quite often and use these sites frequently, I know it is very rare for almost everyone to have the same great comments on the the Preciados. The hotel staff were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and able to give you any information or reference you would like. The hotel room was impeccably clean, and they come and check on the room a couple of times a clean to ensure your room is tidy and whether anything needs to be refilled. The location of the hotel is amazing as it is within walking to many restaurants and tourist sites!

It’s a friendly hotel in the crossing of four metro stations: opera, callao, sol and santo domingo. A very sympathetic staff. If you don’t take breakfeast at the hotel, you will have a Starbucks near or, if you prefer, the Nebraska caffe, at Gran Via, with a brakfeast menu (churros and coffee) for 2€, from Monday to Friday. The desktop of the hotel and the wireless work very well. From the airport it takes half an hour. In the airport you can buy the metro pass (metro, bus and train) and the Madrid card (to enter at the museums). Then, the metro line 8 takes you to Ministerios Station. From there, just one train station (c3 or c4 lines) to Sol. We recommend it.

The hotel location is excellent … near by a shopping center and the old city center. the stuff was so kind and helpful, the restaurant & the bar were very good and tasty….breakfast is soooooo delicious ….. the room very cute and clean …. next year we will come again to the same hotel .
