Very luxurious hotel and full of history. Many celebrities stayed there, so this tells alot.

we had to decide between 2 hotels, Ritz and Magna. we were so glad that we chose the Ritz after we went to view the Magna.we loved the Ritz, it has character class beauty a work of art, i think we were at the terrace everyday for tea. they upgraded our room for no charge, the bell men were excellent. our two complaints that the service at the terrace was not up to the hotel level, ie slow and the tea was cold and had to be changed three times. we were a bit disappointed w their breakfast which was a bit limited, but sitting outside in the morning at the terrace where breakfast is served is fabulous

As opposed to the Paris Ritz I found the atmosphere easier & more pleasant, in that it was less formal, but non the less professional. Perhaps the Spanish culture is warmer & more relaxed, which in itself creates a friendlier & more inviting enviroment. I thoughly enjoyed the stay & will no doubt be returning again in the near fure. My hysband stayed there 27 years ago. He was anxious to go back. So glad we did. We enjoyed our last leg of our vacation in a great city & wonderful hotel.

Mejor irse a un 3 estrellas. Pagas nada comparando con lo que he pagado por dos noches en el Ritz (casi 1000 euros) y no te llevas sorpresas tan desagradables. Ha sido un horror, la verdad. Siento decirlo, pero es así. Magdalena
