Positive:
Excellent location of the hotel, near to metro and train stations, ideal for a city trip and visiting other cities around Madrid. Rather small but clean rooms with very comfortable beds. It was an ideal choice for our 5-day trip.
Negative:
Quite difficult to communicate with the hotel staff if you don’t speak Spanish. Lady at the reception desk could be a little bit nicer to customers. But in the evening there was a young guy who was very nice, helpful and had excellent English.

Location good. Staff and service efficient and very helpful. Decent clean room ,comfortable and quiet. Generally a really pleasant experience and good value.

Shower gel was not provided but that’s not the end of the world !

Two slices of toast and a croissant is not what I’d call a breakfast. The rooms were small but had everything.

Location is excellent – quiet street but very close to good cheap cafes, bars, restaurants and night life. Everything else – like clothes, gifts, travel, art gallery, museum, etc, etc, (even a laundromat and – if you want – a MacDonalds and a Burger King) is within 500-600 metres. Close to Atocha station, Metro and express bus to airport so the rest of Madrid is virtually on the doorstep. Double windows so the room is quiet; also very comfortable and a good internet signal even on the third floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money.
